I suppose this will lead into my tangent about myspace. I tend to get incredulous looks when I say that I don't have a myspace page, nor do I intend to ever get one. Confusion at my refusal seems to abound. "Why would anyone not want a myspace page?" Tends to be what I'm greeted with. The short version is that I don't wish to share that information with people on the internet. I don't like to give away so many details about myself that aren't gained through actual conversation anymore. The longer version is a bit more complicated. I remember the days before myspace when people made personal webpages about themselves. It took time and effort to decipher the HTML coding necessary, but it was worthwhile. For those few who might find a minor interest in a set of pages discarded a long time ago....

I'm still debating if I should transfer my old poems from there to here, or to leave them behind in their origional format without bringing them back to the front of my mind once again. There is a lot of pain associated with such things, and I'm not sure I wish to re-live the memories tied to them.
